La Spezia is a relaxing place for a holiday but not easy to find a good breakfast. So the Market was our go to place for buying food for our breakfasts. Good quality, lively and friendly.

There's a huge selection of fresh and reasonably priced seafood. Most vendors are helpful and they clean the seafood really well for us. If you are self-catering, buy all you seafood, vegetables and fruits here. Limited choices of meat though.

If your a lovers of market I would recommend this one! Heap of fresh fruit/ vegetable and seafood! It's only about 15min from the train station. So if your coming through La Spezia come and check this out!

The surroundings is what makes this pace special. The market itself is a so so place. We had been to the large Sunday market in ferenzia before so I suppose that's why it felt like that. Wonderful ice cream and pleasant people makes for a...More

I love markets. We were taking a bus from Portovenere to Lerici, with a change of bus in la Spezia. We noticed there was a market about a block from where we disembarked the bus. There is a covered market which sells fruits, vegetables, cheese,...More
