Santa Maria della Vigne is extremely beautiful.
It is one of the most highly decorated churches in Genoa. It's origins are in the 10th century when the monks tended grapevines in the courtyard. St. Mary of the Wine? Definitely my patron saint :))

The beautiful interior of the Basilica di Santa Maria delle Vigne is well worth a visit. The ceilings are covered in gorgeous paintings, so you'll spend much of your visit looking up at them (see attached photos).
