Amazing architecture and beautiful mosaic floors and, oh yeah, not a bad shopping spot. We were looking for some strictly Italian designers that we cannot find in the States and luckily we were successful. And of course they have all the usual stores to shop....More

At number 14 of Via XX Settembre there is Palazzo dei Giganti built in 1906 in Art Nouveau style. On the façade there are four pairs of telamons (the masculine equivalent of the caryatids) that support four pairs of paired columns.

Amazing shopping road in the heart of Genova. Beautiful paleces, Brignole station down and Piazza Deferrari on the top. Easy to reach.

While walking along this magnificent arched shopping passage, the floors are covered in art as well. From ancient dolphins to intertwining designs... the mosaic tiles are really worth stopping and appreciating

Just strolling down the Via XX Settembre is lovely, taking in the atmosphere, and the locals doing there day to day walk. Lovely shops, and you can go off the side streets, and explore.

A long street lined on both sides with high quality shops. As others have indicated, the buildings are architectural gems. There is the Oriental Market here - worth a visit. Lots of well known brand names are featured. One could spend a fortune here.

All major shops line the street. The buildings are extremely ornate. Really need a good clean and would display the ornate features of the buildings.

Not sure as we have not visited on a Sunday. Given that many are fairly large stores I would assume they are.
