Watch from town to see when it is not crowded. It does not take much time and the views are worth the climb.

If you are in Vernazza I would recommend this spot. The stairs are worth the effort when you get to the top. Great views of the coast line and towns.

We visited on a weekday in December around 2.30pm and it was closed, although the official website of the village says it opens every day. Therefore, we couldn't see the iconic view of the village. It was a waste of time.

The walk up all the stairs and the climb to the top is worth it for the views! If you're in Vernazza, check it out.
