The place to be to watch Trieste and it's citizens enjoy life. Feel welcome at the Café Peratoner and enjoy the sunshine and brilliant Latte Machiato.

Fantastic to just stroll through across the square absorbing the magnificent old buildings and locals grabbing coffee - certainly stroll of the back left corner along the back streets and laneways - hopefully in good weather

This Piazza is wonderful. Vast; facing the sea; surrounded by wonderful buildings. Michelin starred restaurant on one side, cafes on the other. Certainly the centre of the city and wonderful either by Italian standards.

We entered the large Piazza Unità d'Italia, considered to be Europe's largest square on the sea, with impressive neoclassical buildings surrounding it, including the town hall, several palaces and the 18th-century fountain of the four continents
