I cannot imagine that there is a huge Serbian orthodox population in Trieste but the wealth of this church in terms of its gilding is amazing.

It is a stunning church from the outside but you nee to go inside to really appreciate its beauty. It is different from other churches in Trieste and definitely worth a visit.

It is a beautiful Serbian church which is located by the Canal Grande. The buildnig is old and the interior is wonderful. There is a very good iconostasis. It is a must see for the Orthodox but I think everyone will love it

This is a much more attractive church inside than the nearby San Antonio. It is not surprising that James Joyce preferred it! The colours are wonderful and there is a good iconostasis.
