It may not look like a lot from the outside but inside is pretty spectacular. The views of the city are also lovely from the area.

This lovely medieval cathedral is pleasantly understated for a prominent Roman Catholic place of worship in Italy. It provides a wonderfully cool and serene sanctuary in order to both contemplate God... and physically recover from the hot and grueling walk up the hill from town!

A bit of a climb depending on where you enter from but a magnificent view from the castle adjoining the cathedrals. The church itself is lovely.

We stayed quite close to here, and so came here each day after exploring Trieste. Bring a ball : the children love playing in these grounds.

I travel to Trieste for work and often will go to the Cattedrale de San Giusto for reflection and pray. It is a beautiful church.

If you want a good climb up the hill, this is the place to visit. There are also great views from various vantage points. A must when in Trieste.

Short steep walk up to the Cathedral. I did it twice. Took the bus down. Kiosk, toilet and parking facilities. Great views of Trieste. It’s shocking to realize that Christianity destroyed the beautiful older Roman temple to make way for this questionable edifice. The Romans...More

The church is breathtaking inside! Kid friendly but not a place to let kids run wild. The way to get up to the church is a big hill. Wear comfy shoes if walking. Bell tower view 1.50 euro well worth it!

It’s worth climbing the hill for the view, and the cathedral is an unusual one, with a nice polychrome interior and unusual sculpture on the exterior

There were two churches merged into one cathedral, it is obvious from outside and once you know it is also obvious inside as well. But the architect did a wonderful job to join them together and making it looking like a whole. Great mosaics and...More
