This statue is on the place where is Gran Canale di Trieste. Nice statue of James Joyce, he was really in love with this town. It's in the center of town, so you can easily walk to this place. Recommend.

There are a number of these statues of literary figures around the city’s streets. They add a little interest to the streetscape but are nothing special really.

It's just a statue of James Joyce on the bridge, facing the south and towards a pub that's named after him. Just like statues in Dublin, the James Joyce statue should have a nickname.

With this small statue on a bridge it is memorized, that James Joyce spent some time in Triest. There is not much about it - just walk by on a stroll, take a picture and have a coffee in one of the many coffeeshops around...
