Don't be put off! There's some great work in here. Modern work, and work from throughout the 20th Century. Painters and Mosaicists working together, including Mark Chagall. Some great works, not just traditional work, either. There's a great piece using nozzles from spray cans.
After a day looking at ancient mosaics, it was really interesting looking at the evolution in the modern art. I was fascinated by the use of new materials and the colours. It completes perfectly a visit of the mosaics in Ravenna.
