Check with Parma tourism. I do believe it closes later than this site states. Inside: Amazing amphitheater and beautiful 17th century artwork.

We were wandering around Parma for the afternoon and happened upon the National Gallery, although to be fair, it is hard to miss. We could have spent hours upon hours here, with not only the art masterpieces, but the breathtaking juxtaposition of the old building,...More

This art gallery is definitely worth the two hours we were there. It is well maintained with good presentation of art displays. There are some very famous artists such as Leonardo de Vince. As well as little know ones over several generations. There is a...More

The collection, especially the early Renaissance works were first rate. There were other rooms that were less attractive, but overall it's an excellent museum .

The ok artwork housed in this nice palace is some of the most poorly administered I have seen anywhere. Definitely not worth the trip.

This is a very extensive gallery of art, most of it from the region. Much of it is in the "Closed Halls", though. These halls are only available at specified times, when a guard (not a guide) takes groups through. The times vary with the...More
