This city gate is just across the road from Bologna Centrale Station and is under 2-3 mins' walk. Very well maintained and good for a quick visit and photo stop.

Since this structure is so close to the train station, you shouldn't miss seeing it and making it the beginning your Bologna experience. It is also near the main drag of Via Independza. It is a couple of hundred years old after its latest restoration...More

It is a nice place, with ruins, if you have to wait your train it is almost in front of the station.

When you come from the railway station and want to go into the city, it is still today the gate to the Via Indenpendenza, to the Old city. It is very nicely renovated
