Direct route from Stazione Centrale all the was to Piazza Maggiore , Neptune and old shopping areas. Restaurants, ice cream stalls and shopping. They close a large part of it on Sunday so people can promenade. All for free (except the shopping).

A central street with a lot of shops. The use of pavements with ceilings - porticos - make it easy to take a walk and do shopping independent of the weather conditions. A must see in Bologna.

This Main Street is very beautiful. With marble on the ground. And the arches are beautiful too. It is a great walk.

Getting lost on this street is a pleasure. Lined with a wide variety of shops this via is a nice place for an evening stroll much Ike many other streets in Bologna.

A very busy street but if you go on a weekend they seal of the traffic and it changes everything, it is just lovely. Restaurants put tables on the street and people are walking leisurely around doing their shopping.

Stretching from the train station all the way to Piazza Maggiore, Via dell'Independenza has a lot of high-brand shops, hotels, nice (maybe not the cheapest though) cafeterias and restaurants. The Duomo of Bologna (Cattedrale di San Pietro) dominates it at its southern end. You can...More

You can walk under the arcades in rain and see many differents shops, a good walk. It is nice with no cars on the road, some of the way.
