Skip the Line Ancient Pompeii Small Group Walking Tour with Top Rated Guide

1 review
Like many ancient ruins, Pompeii can be hard to interpret to the untrained eye. With this walking tour, admire the vast site’s temples, baths, villas, theaters, and more with the insights of an art historian guide to put these important Roman remains into context. Enjoy convenient skip-the-line entry and take in the highlights while learning about daily life and ancient customs in the Roman city over two millennia ago.

I walked past this place one Saturday and there must have been a hundred young people all hanging out socializing. Five stars for them. Went back around 8pm on a Thursday night to try it out. Really, don’t bother eating here. I had a pizza and my husband ordered calamari but got a mixed fried seafood basket that tasted very fishy which should not happen in a fishing town town full of fresh seafood. The pizza was blah. It was also overpriced. I have lived in this town for three months and this place just opened for the summer season so we had to try it out. I guess it’s really just a hang out for young teens and 20 somethings. Nice view and bad food. In fact I’m writing this just a few minutes after I got home and have a stomach ache. Obviously we won’t be going back.

Met here with friends. We wanted a place where we couldn't go wrong but here the service and attitude of staff was totally absurd and with no common sense. We arrived on a scorching hot late afternoon. One staff told us they re running late and we have to wait. This was round 18.30. we sat down to wait on scorching hot benches. Finally waiter comes. And after another 15 min finally the cocktails come. At the same time another waitress puts a sticker on our table that it's booked at 19.30 without actually looking at us. We ordered another round and then we were asked to get up as the persons who had booked had arrived. But if we had arrived when there was still no one why weren't we told before to change the place. Really patetico . It's true the view is good and cocktails are good but it's also not cheap and there are better places around where guests are treated much better.
