Definitely the best tour I have ever experienced in my life! Davide is the best guide I have ever had. He gave us all info, plus the friendly approach we all need. Also, historic references - which might be boring - were alternated to modern-life examples. That was awesome! Thank you very very much! And thank you Davide!

I am writing this review on behalf of my 11 year old daughter, for whom I purchased this Virtual Tour. I came across this Virtual Tour in TripAdvisor and were excited about the Tour Description of a real Guide walking around Vatican City's landmarks and entering St. Peter's Basilica. It was 01/30 Saturday afternoon, and I immediately booked the next day 02/01 Sunday Tour. It was unclear to me at that time whether the publicized 15:30 Tour starting time is Rome local time or US Eastern Standard Time, but I figured either one should be fine to us (we live in US Eastern seaboard city). The Tour Provider 'Gray Line Rome' responded about 8 hours later in early Sunday morning via TripAdvisor message, informing me in details that they had not been able to get the needed permissions to lead the tour on the day. Rosanna at 'Gray Line Rome' apologized and offered to re-arrange the service for us on our preferable date. Rosanna also took time to explain that the Walking Tour is conducted in Rome Local Time 15:30, which is 9:30 in the morning in US Eastern Standard Time. I was satisficed with the quick and detailed response and rescheduled the Tour to be on next Sunday 02/07. I also explained to Rosanna that it would be my 11 year old daughter to join in the Tour, and it would be her first time to see Rome. Rosanna helped reschedule the Tour for me and promised me that the Tour shall be kids friendly. On 02/05 Friday afternoon 1:00 pm, I received the email notice of the upcoming 02/07 Sunday Tour, containing the Zoom link, connection instruction, and Guide name. Rossana even provided me with her mobile number if we need to contact her. I felt much assured and knew we were taken good care of. On this Sunday morning, I set up the computer and launched the Zoom meeting at 9:25. On 9:30, the Virtual Tour started punctually. David showed up and started walking around and talking. I let my daughter enjoy the Tour then. Here is what I was told after my daughter finished the Tour: The Walking Tour was conducted actually by the team of David and Rosanna. Rosanna was in charge of camera and also helped chat with the Tour participants and answered anyone's typed in question quickly. David was showing everyone the famous landmarks and giving brief description and insights. David and Rosanna lead the Tour inside St. Peter's. However, once deep inside, the zoom connection started showing instability due to poor internet signal. For a short time, the Zoom video went black and only David's voice was heard. As soon as camera came out of St. Peter's, the Zoom video returned. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the tour. She thought high of David's tour leading and humor. David's English is almost perfect, with a little Italian accent naturally. She thought the team of David and Rosanna worked great for this unique Virtual Walking Tour. It was unfortunately quite rainy and damp weather there in Rome. When my daughter was shown the famed River Tiber, she could only see a muddy river from the bridge view point. My daughter was also kind of disappointed that the Tour ended a little bit early at 10:20, only giving her about 50 minutes or so Tour time. In all, I would definitely give this Tour 4.5 Rating (obviously there are rooms to improve). However, with the second thought, amid this crazy pandemic situation, I really admire David and Rosanna's ingenuity and determination of providing the home confined folks like us with the much needed sightseeing experience. Therefore, I still rated this Virtual Tour with 5 stars. My daughter is going to recommend this Virtual Tour to her elder brother (almost 15 YRs old). That young guy is more learned in Rome and its history. After my son's completing his Tour in another 2 or 3 weeks, I will follow up with another review then.

This was such a fun and engaging tour. I could have listened to our tour guide Davide speak all day. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared wonderful facts and details of each location. They worked quickly through small technical challenges and provided plenty of time for questions or specific details that we wanted to see along the way. I will certainly be using Gray Line again in the future, both virtual and (hopefully soon) in-person!

It is not to believe how impressive was our visit to the San Peter church. It takes one day only to visit the Basilica . I suggest to read a book to understand how reach of history is this Catholic basilica .
