This is part of the forum and I would highly advise at least buying skip the line tickets to avoid an extremely long uncomfortable wait. Be aware, despite the common belief that this is where Caesar was murdered, it is not. The actual place of...More

Each emperor had to have his own forum; Julius Caesar constructed this one in 46BC. Located, nestled between the Roman Forum and Via dei Forii Imperial, not much remains of what was once a grand area constructed by Caesar. The most obvious item are the...More

Not much left of this forum built under Julius Caesar's reign. Still there is plenty to see and you will benefit from good guide or guidebook to get the most out of visit. The forum is located on a main road from the Coliseum towards...More

This forum was on the top of list see as it was built by the famous emperor in 46 AD, there is not much left today, however, with our Rome past and present book (reconstructed imagines of the ruins) in hand it was easier to...More

So much history to put in one place! Must see!! Do your own research or get a guided tour because if you just go you wont be able to find much displays to understand the ruins.

The ruins themselves are magnificent but tourists beware of getting robbed by the guys dressed in Roman period costume. They greet you and offer to take pics with you etc and then demand extortionate sums of money and threaten you if you don't pay. This...More

I've always had a difficult time imagining how the broken remnants of each forum once represented the grandeur of Rome, but this recorded narrative and light show truly brought the Forum of Caesar to life. The tour gives you exclusive access to the ground level...More
