This is a must see area and spend time walking through history and culture. I don’t know what to say but sit down and have an expresso while drinking in the atmosphere.

Whether you are visiting to see the ancient ruins, churches, restaurants, cafes, or do some shopping, there is something for everyone in Rome. In the historic center there is a mishmash of time frames - ancient ruins and buildings next to 19th century or Renaissance...More

Walking around the little streets around the Centro Storico gives the impression you've travelled in time, if it wasn't for the amount of tourist taking photos and selfie sticks. This is to be expected and I'm just glad it was February and not during the...More

Historic centre of the city, is the heart of Rome, to visit by foot, to stroll around, it's wonderful; this area, near the Tiber, for me, it is the part of town that is the densest in interest, narrow old streets, many monuments, churchs, places,...More

The energy in Rome is titillating, and one of the greatest fascinations is that such a modern, such a vibrant city should live among its history. The streets are alive with past and present.

Centro Storico is an essential part of ant sight seeing visit to Rome. As the name suggests it is central, the nearest metro station is NOT Tiburtina which is nowhere even close to Centro Storico. Tiburtina is definitely not a place you want to visit,...More

A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is
all about action. From early morning through the wee
hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a
never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or
take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming
gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of
hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle
are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you

There are areas for high end shopping (I'm not a big traveling shopper however... I saw them while walking around) Nice boutiques around the Spanish Steps and Trevi fountain.
