Don't miss the beautiful remains of what once was the greatest city of civilization. You can't help but feel the spiritual connection to history and imagine what it may have been like to live back 2000 years ago.

This place is included in our tour to colosseum. Just few minutes walk from the arena. Its very ancient, back to BC. Must wear comfy shoes since the pavings are uneven, ( wc some of these cobblestones you're stepping were two thousand plus years old)....More

It’s a very nice walk with nice things to see such as ruins and nature. It is different from the rest in my opinion and it’s Just by the ancient forum!

We did this as part of a tour combining Palatine Hill and the Coleseum. As advised before good comfortable foot wear, a hat and water, there are fountains nod springs you can refill your bottles along the way.

It's a really beautiful place, really calm, with big gardens and grass area where you can sit. Must see!

Visiting this place in the afternoon is not a good idea as it is a very open space. It is mostly ruins that might not interest you if you visit it without any background or has no tour guide to explain.

Perhaps the most ancient part of the Forum/Colosseum complex it proffers excellent views of the Forum and Rome beyond. Ruins are more spread out than in the Forum below and you definitely need a guidebook or guide to put it into historical context with everything...More
