Pity we found the palace closed when we arrived yet the facade and location in Ariccia is worth a visit when open. The Church opposite is imposing and was worth viewing

There was nothing on the exterior to indicate this was a palazzo with over 500 years of history. We went on a guided tour of the living quarters. The wall "paper" being stitched together, embossed leather was stunning and so unusual. The guide advised it...More

Reale nice experience visiting this not very known Palazzo, plenty of treasures of Barocco period. Don't miss the guided tour to the rooms and their incredible treasures.

We had a tour guide all to ourselves and he was terrific - extremely knowledgeable. I was able to understand his Italian - he spoke very clearly and not too quickly - but someone who does not know any Italian might want to check first...More

The Palazzo Chigi is often overlooked by tourists in Rome and is arguably one which should be on the must do list. Allow time to be consumed into the history as well as the charm of this building - you will not regret.
