A short queue on Sundays- it's free enry, & you are transported to a beautiful building with stunning interiors which house quite a few old paintings including something rare by Caravaggio. Apparently they have classical music during the day, in the main entrance. How wonderful....More

Palace,bank,or reconstruction? Very fine decoration and paintings, however Caravaggio’s last painting is highly restored and for me rather uninteresting. Makes a great break from the street noise.

Alone is worth visiting. It has a wonderful Aula in the middle where they have free classical concerts on Wednesday at 1:30pm.

Go for the single Caravaggio, but stay to see the interesting, varied painters he influenced, and the splendid building itself

We went to this museum that is an old Palace just to see the last picture that Carvaggio painted a month before his death. They have a nice room just with that one picture. We walked around the other rooms and enjoyed the whole experience

They should warn that Caravaggio's painting, at this moment, is not in the museum. It is in a temporary exhibition in Milan. Although the building is magnificent and the collection of Italian art is worth a visit, the Palazzo Staff should warn of the absence...More
