Like the situation with couple of Naples reviews, my experience was totally different then many reviews say.. I can only say: wow, Naples is such a magnificent place to visit.. Quartieri spagnoli the most! Streets are narrow, lot of people, there are streets where fish...More

Was interesting to see the local way of living, but we passed quickly as no one felt safe enough to enter and the main road running near felt unsafe and crowded enough. We will go elsewhere in Naples on our next trip through.

A visit to Naples is not complete without coming here. Narrow grids of streets, balconies inches away from the ones opposite, scooters whizzing past you and people going about their business. Great.

Not once did I feel 'unsafe" of threatened. Yes the streets are narrow and dark and full of people and Vespas, but still isn't that exactly what you went to see? The market is big and busy and I saw the Tripperia but was not...More

No visit is complete with visiting the spanish quarter. It is as you read in the guides: small lies, wash is drying outside, life is ongoing. You look into the apartments and see people living there. Quite typical that this is the case so close...More

It is very unusual for me to leave a terrible review, but I felt the need to do so this time. Being what it is, I expected this area of Naples to be populated with hawkers, mopeds, pickpockets and with various tat on sale. I...More

Narrow and dark streets full of "crazy/alternative" motorbikers and small napolitan shops. I personally did not enjoy it (too busy and chaotic).

Steep narrow streets, washing strung between the upper stories, neighbors chatting in streetside armchairs, scooters weaving in and out. Plus great little eateries.
