Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Last minute decision to visit this place and glad we did. I found the reception staff weren't real helpful and unfortunately there were no audio sets left or brochers/map available to help explain the museum. I would suggest an audio guide to make the most of your visit. Once inside the fresco's, artifacts and nativities were amazing. The grounds are in need of attention but it was still very peaceful to wonder through. A great place to enjoy the view of Naples city.

I can't find enough superlatives for this building. It apparently also houses a Carmelite nunnery. The arched cloisters can be viewed from the Church but are not open to the public. The church is rich in symbolism, in marble, in beauty, has the tallest bell tower in Naples. It is one of the biggest churches in Naples. At statue of Konradin graces the burial spot of Konradin and Friedrich of Baden. Visit the convent shop, make a donation, or buy a religious item. The church is very beautiful - and look up at the coffered gold ceiling of the sanctuary. Well worth a visit!

This church while a little dirty on the outside is very nice on the inside. The paintings and the alter are very nice. It takes about 30 minutes to look through it and it well worth the time.

Multi story spire and well constructed. It’s not in a great area but worth a stop off for a viewing.

Basilica Santuario del Carmine Maggiore is another church. This is not to say you should not visit it. To us personally it looked like almost any other we have seen, and we have seen plenty! It is a lovely church, but we saw it only because we happened to be walking by and thought we might as well go inside. So if you are there, by all means, go inside. You will not be disappointed.

The church is very beautiful and I think everyone who goes to Naples should see it. Unfortunately when I was there they were restoring the church facade.

Unfortunately we haven't had a chance to see its beauty - this church was under renovation in November 2016.
