Awesome knowledgeable guide taking us through two catacombs and the streets of Naples explaining how it was like living back in the day and entombing the bodies. Fascinating stuff and quite eerie walking the same steps the monks did, especially in the tiny room where...More

Wonderful tour of catacombs...we’ll worth the stop. The guide was a bit hard to follow with her beautiful Italian accent, but enthusiasm was catching. The underground sanctuary dates to the 2nd century a.d.

We started from catacumbs of San Gennaro and later visited catacumbs of San Gaudioso. Catacumbes of San Gennaro are big, good preserved. They are still continuing works on the other parts of catacumbes

This tour was very interesting and a great visit. Our guide spoke excellent English, he was very informative and passionate about his job, it was nice to see how much he enjoyed telling us about the history of the catacombs.

A truly beautiful tour made even better by our guide. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable about the tombs themselves but she also shared her passion for the district. Certainly worth the walk up the hill!

Ancient underground cemetery dugout into the ground, covering different eras. Very interesting and good guide. Largest I have ever seen. Local enterprises running the project. Also disabled access, small coffee and refreshments shop. Well worth a visit.
