While enjoying Naples' beautiful (and underrated) harbor you can drop by this castle/fort for a quick self guided tour. The views of Vesuvius and other mountains/islands and the bay in general provide great backgrounds for pictures. There are plenty of nice restaurants in the area...More

The castle offers a beautiful view of the harbour, sea and coast. Offers nice refuge from the bustling city - it offers shaded spaces, windy terraces and is little crowded. Go there!

The castle is free to enter. The climb to the top is an easy walk up gentle paths and wide steps. From the top you get nice views of Naples town, Mount Vesuvius and the ocean.

Visited with family of young children. Quite a trip to get there but amazing views of Naples and Vesuvius from the top of this castle.

Amazing views of Naples harbour and Vesuvius. Plus it’s free! Well worth a visit, despite it being a little out of the way for the historic centre.
