This is the most touristy place of all of Capri, lined by a couple of restaurants where you can sit and see the world pass by. Amazingly the service in these restaurants is very friendly, efficient and prices are reasonable. Have a drink and enjoy...More

As our hotel was only round the corner from this square we spent each of the 6 evenings in Capri sat at the bars watching the rich and sometimes famous go by! If you're a people watcher this is the place to be after the...More

Don't go near any of those bars. Average drinks, crazy prices. Think about 25 euro for a granita, a cappuccino and a doppio espresso macchiato.

Great place to people watch and sit down for coffee or a meal. Perfect to recover from a day shopping.

What can I say it’s beautiful views. Plenty of expensive shops. Cafes, restaurants and such a great place to sit and watch the people go by. Capri is vey expensive but it’s worth the visit.

This piazza is the hub & can be very crowded. There are shops & restaurants surrounding it. Great place to get your bearings, as all the little walkways go out like spokes on a wheel. I visited in April, so the crowd wasn't too bad--summer...More

A busy square filled with tourists. We had a couple of expensive beers and watched the world float by. Don't take the stairs. Great views!

If this place would be a bit quieter it would be quite charming but as it is the first point of entry of anyone entering the peatonal Capri it is so crowded you just want to escape from. Pass by take a couple of pictures...More

Being on the Island of Capri was not the highlight I expected. Maybe I was not ready to face the "hordes" after spending a peaceful three hours in a gozzo boat around the island.

Same as previous answer, its a busy tourist spot, so can't see the shops and tours being closed. Its their main income.
