Having had a super day in Capri we found ourselves with an hour to spare before heading back down for the boat - decided to pop in here and SO pleased we did. The small admission fee was well worth it, what an amazing collection...More

What a fantastic hidden gem! A medieval castle with a gorgeous panoramic view of the coast. A well spent 5.00 euros with Capri’s lemoncello. An educational experience learning about previous Roman residents. Loved it!

This is a small museum but the exhibits aren't typical and includes the flora and fauna in Capri. I found it interesting but you would be done in 10 minutes and that has some stretch already

Only normal place I found in Capri, ineresting artifacts, useful info from staff only Euro 2.50 to get in and it was empty. I guess those who go to Capri are only interested in Shopping or standing in lines..

Housed in a private Palazzo on the Piazzetta of Capri, across from the San Stefano church, is a museum of over 24,000 items collected on the island by the Cerio family, and other donations, including roman, egyptian, etruscan, and prehistoric artefacts. It takes less than...More

Just off the Piazzetta it is a great refuge from the hustle and bustle around that area. The exhibits would do a National Geographic scholar proud. The natural history and geology of the Island is what it is all about . Not for the casual...More

I'm sure that this is a fascinating if old-style natural history museum but for a linguistically impaired person such as myself, I didn't get as much out if it as a local would. Still I was perfectly happy to pay the modest entry fee to...More

There's a fabulous view of the piazzetta from the upper-storey windows, but it's quite a climb up steep stairs to get there. Otherwise, the museum covers most of the areas you would expect, but is dominated by geology and natural history - what Cerio himself...More

The musuem was fascinating with the geological, historical and biological exhibits. Most of the exhibit descriptions are in Italian, although you are given a leaflet in English when you pay your entrance fee.
