Nothing to see except some blue water from a hole, for a rip-off price (€48 for 2 adults and 2 children), for 10 minutes if nothing impressive. Pass your way!

I'd heard so much about the blue grotto, I couldn't pass it up on my trip to Capri. It met my expectations, it was very pretty, and not very expensive for a ticket. Go early, as the line gets long later in the day, and...More

Best highlight of my week in Italy. Go early in the morning, and remember to check the tides and waves before taking the ferry over from Sorrento.

18.50 Euros for a small beer, a small coffee and hot choclate, rude waiters, toilets covered in urine, rubbish!

We were on a boat trip to Capri and our skipper got us to the Blue Grotto early before it got too busy so we only had a 10 minute wait. We had to transfer over the side into rowing boats which was tricky. The...More

This was the most disappointing trip I’ve had in years and would recommend you give it a miss. The whole trip took almost 3 hours despite being told it would take 90 minutes. You pay €15 each to be taken to the Grotto Azzurra, where...More

Although the grotto is wonderful to see the price tag is high. First you need to get a boat to take you to the grotto. Then you wait for the row boats that take 2 to 4 people at a time through the small opening...More

If there was an easier and shorter way of arriving at the Blue Grotto site I would say it’s worth it, but having to spend best part of 2 hours on a boat, mostly hanging around for your turn to be offloaded onto the small rowing...More

We took a boat tour around the island and the last stop would be the blue cave, we knew in advance the blue cave visit was not included, and would cost an extra 14 euro. When we arrived there were so many boats waiting the...More

I haven't been swimming, but I understand there are opportunities. I suspect it depends on the queue outside of people wanting to get inside. The green and white grottos are less popular (you don't really go inside) and I... More

You can see all the grottoes in one day. Would me sad not to see all. Two days on the island. One day Capri and then wald accros island to Anacapri. Sounds lovely
