We visited the castle while in Salerno and visited with Marco. While there, we toured the castle, took lots of pictures of the beautiful views Salerno. We were lucky enough to sample some of the food offered at the castle, which was absolutely amazing.

Fantaatic views are what made this visit worthwhile. The museum was interesting but the castle only mildly so. Finding the entrance wasn't that easy as we first had to find the cafe to buy tickets.

This is a nice peaceful place to visit if you have some extra time in the area, but I wouldn't put it at the top of your list, especially as the busses are somewhat infrequent. The great view and small museum are the main attractions...More
