Four floors of well presented and described objects illustrating the evolution of civilisation in the area of Magna Graecia, from the neanderthals to the Romans. And they have that famous small collection of bronze statues recovered from classical era shipwrecks

The museum is recently refurbished so is light, airy and air-conditioned (actually turn on). The four floors are small enough to be covered without feeling overwhelmed and the main attraction, I Bronzi di Riace, are easily reached on the main floor. I am not a...More

Worth every peni! The bronze statues was briliant even all the other items well presented! Avoid the big groups in the special room with rieche bronzie!

Great achievement, what a large overview in this beautiful museum. The Bronze Warriors (Bronzi di Riace) are magnificent! Don’t forget to taste an ice cream at Cesare in front of the museum: best in Italia

While the Bronzi are the highlights there are other gems that are perfectly exhibited. Recommended for culture buffs. Not to be missed
