This cathedral has stood for centuries and has its own unique history. Well worth a visit if you are exploring Cosenza

The church fits right into the unique neighborhood. Walk up to the cathedral past the river, up the cobbled streets, on the side of the hill.

This cathedral is one of many. The inside opens to many basilicas that host a number of sacraments. The stained glass and organ are huge and beautiful. The preservation of historic and religious relics are beyond description.

Was shocked to find that the gorgeous duomo has been stripped of some of its history. New lights have been installed and who knows what else ripped out. Have seen this happening throughout southern Italy. Terrible shame! Vergogna!!!

It is a pity that despite being a UNESCO Heritage site this area looks so neglected. This Duomo [cathedral] would have been the central focus in old Cosenza centuries ago for people residing in the adjoining narrow Medieval streets. Please care for your heritage!

Cosenza cathedral has some interesting internal paints and an a beautifull architecture. The Duomo square is also interesting and pays a visit.

This cathedral is in the oldest part of town. There is a surreal atmosphere where you can feel the past.
