From here you can see all of the sassi...and it's a meeting point for descending to see some of the chiese ripest re, cave churches full of frescos in the countryside. A must go.

Tastes a little bit getting here in the dark and the roads are small and unfinished but once you arrive in the parking lot and the trail beyond to the edge of the Gorge you will be rewarded with such a spectacular view of Matera...More
