Very relaxing area even though you are in the middle of Madrid. All different kinds and colors of roses. The park is also a great place for a walk.

Located inside Retiro Park, this rose garden is worth a stopover. There were some roses when I was there in mid June, but the full bloom period is probably a few weeks earlier. Weather was hot and sunny. Recommend to drop by for some photos...More

Unfortunately the roses are a few weeks passed their prime but even now there is enough colour to be of interest if you are in the area. The garden is just 5 minutes from Temple Debod and there are free toilets.

Cable car was out of order but found a great rose garden. Most had already flowered but there were still lots to admire. A great free place to visit in Madrid

We were visiting the Templo de Debod and headed for Teleferico from there. This park was on the way so we visited it on the way. The park was very beautiful. And if you're into roses you will have a lot to see here.

In this garden there are a lot of roses species. I definitely cannot tell them apart and I am not a fan of roses or flowers, in general, but the garden is impressive in size and diversity. Be aware that if you want to study...More
