This is pretty far from Mercado de San Miguel, very few tourists, much lower prices and a greater mix of food and drinks. There’s a “square” in the middle and people just sit on the floor eating and drinking when it’s really busy. This is...More

Love this place! My partner is spanish and we always go here when we are at home. There are never many tourists there and the food and beverages are delicious. The surrounding neighbourhood is also great to explore after you have filled yourself up.

We are sick and tired of the tourist trap called Mercado San Miguel. The market Mercado San Fernando has it all. Friendly atmosphere. Nice eateries. Fine drinking places. Everything just calls for coming back and back ... so we will :-)
