This small museum is currently empty except for one large important painting, "The Martyrdom of St. Andrew" Rubens. The museum closed due to lack of funding.

The Museo Carlos de Amberes had an exhibition of Flemish painting that was quite good. The museum is small, but the paintings in the exhibition were very good. Among the painters represented were Anton Van Dyck, Rubens, Jacob Jordaens and David Teniers II.
