Really nice artworks and graffitis in an old tobacco factory. Place is open for public but far from being a tourist attraction. There was local people hanging around and spending their evening surrounded by exceptionally inspirational atmosphere.

A friend introduced me to this place and I really liked it. If you like street art this is the perfect place to visit. There were no specific events going on but just walking through the building was already really nice.

The Tabacalera is a great urban space, holding temporary exhibitions of a contemporary nature. At the moment it has an amazing photographic exhibit by Juan Manuel Castro Prieto. However outside is a revelation...a series of murals around the buildings painted by well known street painters...More

This very interesting art venue is quintessential Madrid and off the beaten track of monuments and museums. An old cigarette factory of the sort featured in the opening of Georges Bizet's "Carmen" has been converted into a photographic exhibit space and a place to see...More

Walking into this neighbourhood is like entering a
different country ... except it's hard to tell which

traditional African clothing convene outside their
businesses for long chats, and people shout to each
other across plazas and streets. Interspersed among
