The museum is near the palace. It’s not a huge place but it was very nice. It’s not pricey to get it. The building itself is also very cool. Well worth the time.

After viewing the gorgeous rainments of the clergy you can ascend to the cupola where views in all directions can be had. Also upon the roof are gory and striking statues. Worth the 6€ entrance fee especially if like us you couldn’t face the massive...More

The castle was closed and we saw the Muse by chance. On entering, I showed my I.D. for a senior's pass and my wife was asked for hers. I queried that EVERY other attraction/museum/bus that we had paid for, only one proof of I.D. was...More

Ok don’t miss this if you’re interested in History of the Catholic Church in Madrid. Beautiful altar pieces and magnificent vestments plus manuscripts. Easily viewable in 1 to 2 hours plus the ability to climb the tower and see the city scape and view of...More

We only visited the cathedral, not the museum, and it was magnificent. There is no charge for entry but a suggested donation of one Euro per person, which is a bargain. The side chapels were fascinating and diverse and the vaulted and painted ceilings are...More

If you are in Madrid, I think this is one of the most overlooked but best things to do in Spain. The key is to timing it correctly. I honestly have little interest in the museum itself, but for the 6€ it is worth it...More

When you think you've seen them all, you stille have to visit this cathedral. Just enter at the front, at the palace-side where the paid tour starts. Is has a history comparable to Segrada in Barcelona. Beautiful modern stained glass windows. And don't forget the...More

As you might guess there is religious art here. But do not miss the view from the dome. It is not old as some churches but it was well organized and cool.

The view from atop the church is great. The museum was ok, not very relevant unless you are catholic.
