The building’s architecture is very interesting. It looked almost British to me. I enjoy looking at building like this and found this one worth the time.

If you are walking down the Paseo del Prado you will see many lovely buildings but this one is definitely one of the most decorative if not the grandest but it is also in an amazing location with stunning architecture of the cultural centre opposite.

Spain's central bank is an impressive building near the renowned Gran Via. Occupying a whole block, it is a huge structure with a nice facade. Another good place for photos.

The Bank of Spain building is another striking bit of architecture that you will find in Madrid. Building was started in 1884 and since been expanded several times. It is almost directly on Paseo de Prado.

Great big building on the Paseo, impressive architecture as it should be since it's the big bank. Beautiful grand site.

Banco de Espana seems nothing out of the ordinary amongst all Madrid's grandeur and I nearly walked past it without noticing it. Blocky, sort of art noveau building with token statue.
