This is a working market all week but on Staurday lunchtime yu ocan buy tapas style porions of everything ..a real fun treat . When you did last have goose barnacles for lunch ?

This is a proper market with a great selection of food and drink. Pulled up a chair at stall downstairs and had beer and black pudding for breakfast - only 3 Euros!

Many purveyors of quality ingredients are found here.Cheese, Jamon, olives, meats, fruits, vegetables etc. Very local and not touristy.

Our friend who Lives in Madrid took us here. Not fancy or upscale or touristy. Just many booths selling local fish, meat and veg. Authentic. Been there for years. Don’t miss seeing this look at real life in Madrid.
