This is a top tier mercado so be prepared to pay for the experience. The best fresh foods including vegetables and meats with a good amount of space for gourmet eateries. Not at all as crowded as San Miguel so its very clean and inviting....More

This is a lovely local as opposed to tourist market with a variety of stalls, mainly focused around eating and drinking but also selling shoes, meats, delicatessens, a hairdresser....

Found it by chance as I was looking for some ham. A real local market without tourists and good quality food. Worth a detour if you are in the area.

We headed to Casa Dani for their famous Spanish tortilla and immediately loved the atmosphere of this market. It is not an open air market but an enclosed area filled with really good restaurants and stalls selling whole legs of Iberico ham, packets of cured...More

If you happen to be in the area, this is worth a pit stop to grab a bite. Although everyone seemed to be squeezing in to eat at casa dani, i recommend the Mexican taco place at the back of the market. It’s small but...More

When you are on your way to Casa Dani, be sure to save time to shop this market. It is a very high end mercado with meats, cheeses, desserts, you name it. Definitely a great place to load up on some ham, cheese and pasteries.

This is a fairly small local food market for the rich locals. Half of the space is restaurants. Go to eat, not grocery shop.

This is not a tourist trap. Located in the exclusive Salamanca district. Very clean, exclusive local products, fresh and beautiful, nice athmosphere. All kind of fish, fruits, vegetables, ready meals...Little bit hidden corner but easy to find. I visit this every year.

Not sure if the market is open. I imagine that the outside restaurants are open. Have your hotel concierge check out the information.
