I visited the last day of February, and the almond blossoms were absolutely spectacular. Easily accessible on the metro from central Madrid (line 5, off at Suanzes... metro stop is literally in front of the park).

A visit to the park is worthwhile at any time of the year. There are certainly more splendid grounds, but it is still nice to take a long walk. Especially because it is quiet here, which is a nice contrast to the busy streets of...More

A nice and quiet park, in fact it was the garden of a businessman from Valencia that missing the almonds of their motherland decided to plant them close to his palace.

Nice park and not too many people. It does however not show that much variety of flowered and trees. It is most almond trees and irises, which is very nice. There is a small section closer to the palace that is more relaxing and more...More

I came here to see the almond trees and it was truly amazing. Not all of them were in full bloom yet at the end of February, but it was still beautiful to see the fields covered in white and pink and that sweet smell...More

I was there on a rather rainy autumn day, but nothing disturbed my ride. You can see a bit of old architecture, a lot of green areas, places to sit and play with friends. Very good for rest and relaxation.

Parque La Quinta de los Olivos was our first stop entering Madrid. Our bus stopped accross the street so we had a chance just to have a glance at this park with beautiful greenery. It is located on Calle de Alcala. You can take nice...More

In middle of March the park turns into a beautiful flowery garden of pale white pink flowers covering the Almond trees. Bring a picknick and enjoy spring in its most beautiful state!
