Certainly not your average monument but interesting to look at if you happen to be walking past. Don’t make to much of an effort to see if it you are at one of the other sides of the park though.

When I'm in Madrid, if I'm walking around the Retiro, I always like to go back to the Angel Caido. There aren't many statues to Lucifer in the world and this is one. I like how human it was portrayed.

Located in the heart of Retiro Park Monumento Del Angel Ciado has to be one if not the only sculpture to the devil. It's a beautiful fountain and statue that was cast in 1877 and exhibited in 1878 and shows the devil falling from grace....More

This is advertised as the only public monument / statue that commemorates the famous fallen angel, it is a stunning piece of architecture

Madrid is packed with outstanding statues in fountains and Monumento del Angel Caido in Retiro Park, would rank as pretty average by comparison. Merits include its original theme.

A good looking statue with fountains in a pond set in a glorious and large Park. So it's one of many great things to look at in Parque del Retiro

They say it is the only public monument that represents the devil and that the snake at the feets of the Angel stands as 666 meters above sea level... It is an interesting representation of the fallen Angel.

Beautiful large culture of the Fallen Angel in Retiro Park. Notice the snake at his feet! Apparently it sits 666m above sea level.

So this (allegedly) the only public monument to the Devil and urban legend says it's 666m above sea level. Hmmmm... Seems legit. I'm fairly certain it was built for the Paris World's Fair, purchase by the Prado, and then later donated to the city. It's...More

This has interesting details at the base with little devils holding lizards, snakes & fish, with the fallen angel at the top. It sits 666m above sea level! An interesting fountain & sculpture, but I wouldn't specifically go to the park to just see that.
