The most beautiful but least visited part of this lovely park is accessed from Moncloa. The landscaping is amazing as you descend into a valley surrounded by beautiful and varied trees. I recommend finding the cobblestone walk than runs along the stream. There are many...More

We have been here several times. Biggest green space in the city. It's on the edge of the city. There are always a lot of things going on, so check. Most active in the warmer months. There are rides, restaurants, concerts etc. etc. Evenings here...More

Apart from the short climb up some steps this makes for a flat stroll with good views over parts of the city. Unfortunately the Egyptian tomb was closed for renovations whist we were there.

This park is spacious with many trees, greens and benches. Many travelers and locals were sunbathing in the grass patches. As the park is on higher ground, one has a good view of the surrounding city and the Royal Palace. After visiting the temple under...More

This park is stunning. Most tourists see it at the Temple Debod however I suggest exploring the far North end at Moncloa. You can explore many quiet paths and there is a small picturesque stream to walk along. The trees are stunning, the grass is...More

When we visited in early June the fountains and ponds surrounding the temple were devoid of water and the entire grounds in rather scruffy condition. It certainly wasn't a place I would want to spend any time at. The viewpoint at the far end of...More
