I tried to get a decent photo of this marvellous fountain, but it is so busy that it was near impossible! A wonderful statue surrounded by elegant buildings.

Such a grandiose plaza and the edifice is absolutely stunning. This would have to be Madrids most famous landmark alongside Gran Via, plaza Mayor, metropolis, Las Ventas bullring and Palacio real.

Beautiful historic building in the heart of Madrid. A short walk from downtown and a must visit if you are in the area.

Only pictures from across the street, we tried to cross but were intercepted by the police. Even more impressive at night.
