Nice and local! You don’t find many tourist here. They do have some nice tapasbars and stalls to get a drink. If you are in the area it is a nice stop.

It is a beautiful market with sections to buy fruits / vegetables as also two floors one devoted to a variety of food and drink and the terrace a restaurant offering authentic spanish cuisine .

Nice market heavy on meat vendors. There were cheese and vegetables as well. Not really a place you’d go to eat there.

Though Mercado San Miguel was packed, this place was surprisingly pretty tame. The restaurants each served many different types of fare and there is something for everyone. I recommend going to the top floor and trying a couple of the tapas and sushi places.
