We visited today, planning on spending one hour. We left 2 hours later after a cappuccino. A beautiful museum that lets you feel the romantic era. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very cheap to get in. Amazing period furniture and artwork - the house feels as if it has not been touched and you feel like you are walking back in time. Well worth it.

Definitely a place to visit while in Madrid. A former private house characterized by its emphasis on emotion and individualism as well as glorification of the Romanticism era.

Beautifully set with nice examples of furniture and decorative items. Very organised. The interactive screens inform well about the period in question. Coffee Shop offers items of good quality. Very nice!!

Chueca is the hip, gay neighbourhood of Madrid where
many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where

thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is
Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables
serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture
of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses
