We went there twice during our stay in Madrid and each time we explored another area of the park. It is a different feel over weekends. I loved the green house and the black swans. The rose gardens were astounding as well. The pond is...More

A treat for the senses in the heart of Madrid. The lush green lawn is so inviting. Take a stroll and enjoy the fresh air. Must visit when in Madrid.

Great location for a picknic under shaded trees. Loads of green spaces, too, for playing games, moderate and discreet alcohol consumption is allowed (albeit illegal) while sitting with friends. Very dog friendly park, and some hidden cat colonies.

Lovely park to visit and walk around or relax. The boating lake is lovely, the duck and turtle pond is a great place to stop and watch them. Ice creams available and food at the cafés. Only problem was long queues for the toilets.

Beautiful park. Lovely boating pond. There is a weekly concert at the bandstand. It was a full orchestral concert and was excellent - very well attended by locals and holiday makers

Lots to see and do, we rented a boat on the lake for an hour (€6) and it was well worth it. Loads of places to sit and have a drink and they're not a rip off which is refreshing! On Sundays there's an orchestra...More

The park itself is huge! We rented one of the rowing boats for 45 minutes which was good fun but you can easily spend the whole day here. People were going round on segway tours and hiring bikes as the park was so big. We...More

could easily spend a day here, people watching. Plenty of cafe's coffee places, trinket sellers etc. Watch out for the quintet band :-)

Did not see much food to go in Madrid. There was a bakery /cafe that might do sandwiches across street on corner opposite park

It doesn’t seem very deep and it looks very safe. More of a big pond than a lake, I think. Hope this helps! 😊
