There isn’t anything really special about this park, but I liked it nonetheless. It was mostly locals taking a sunset stroll, which was a great way to wind down the day.

We strolled around this park and came across some unbelievable sights. The Crystal Palace was gorgeous, the lake resembled an Impressionist painting.

Retiro park was very nice - there are places to grab a quick bite, canoes for rent, pontoon boat ride, etc., but there are too many beggars in and around the park.

When visiting Madrid Retiro Park is worth a visit with some beautiful gardens and monuments. This park also has a pond and you will see residents in boats.
