We were looking forward to visiting but after checking out the website for the hours we got there to find that it was closed at a time it was to be open. Very disappointing!

Located very conveniently in front of the Cibeles fountain, this another jewel of Madrid’s opulent class. This palace home was once the home to the Marques de Linares and his wife Raimunda. There is a lot of mystery and stories abounding about the former owners...More

Been there for pre-dinner cocktails and Dinner afterward. Try getting on the 6th floor terrace, yu will have a nice view of the town (and nice cocktails with tapas too). The restaurant is also very nice and high quality, worht a visit.

Good architecture just as almost all palaces. Since it is located in Cibeles Square, the visit is worth it.

Went to the top of the building for a 360 view of the city. Maps were located at each side to recognize what are the buildings about. Do not regret the experience.

We went to the Palacio de Linares and we saw one exhibition of the Inca Garcilaso and another of the life of Santa Teresa. Both exhibitions were very good and informative.

This is a fascinating Palace to visit as it is a 19th Century building used by the Marquis de Linares. The splendour of its staircase reminds me of Museo Ceralbo. This also has an ornate ballroom, a beautiful oriental room and a gala dining room....More

There are better palaces in Madrid to visit (Real, Liria, Cerralbo), but this one is very well restored and situated in the heart of the city.

Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights
