Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This huge cathedral is the centrepiece of Logrono and it's bell towers can be seen from various parts of the city. Impressive interior with tall pillars and large altar.

The twin towers built by Martin de Berriatua are a good landmark. They are a symbol of logroño. The design of both towers is copied from the bell tower of the Church of St. Thomas in Aro. This was the standard in the early sixteenth century for many churches in Rioja. The unusual façade-the altar of stone in the style of churrigueresque is located between the two towers. The main altar is made in the same complex style, but many believe that the main value of the Cathedral is behind the altar. This is the painting "Crucifixion", which is attributed to Michelangelo himself. There is a whole story about the widow of a brave captain who fell in the battle of Pavia. Michelangelo allegedly gave his painting to her. Romantic, but it is not a fact recognized by all.

Beautiful cathedral, gorgeous alter and so much detail. The arcs are stunning, as are the painted roof. A must visit!

We passed by the Concatedral de Santa María de la Redonda when it was closed, but I was happy to admire its gorgeous Baroque exterior and see the festivities on the plaza - free food, wine, street performers, and very cheerful crowd of the locals enjoying the day.

The streets leading to the church were full of walking orchestras and both kids and adults, dressed in gorgeous regional costumes. Honestly, I have never seen more adorable little kids, so I took some good pictures of them to the delight of their parents.

Decided to visit this Cathedral in the centre of town, for the outside it is grand, inside is breathtaking if you pop a coin in the various boxes the altars light up, simply wonderful. well worth a visit

The combination of the sober architecture with the rich, embodied, altar piece and smaller chapels made this cathedral accessible. It had a “warm” feel.

We visited here while on a visit to Logroño and found it lovely place. Church is beautifully decorated and the painting attributed to Michelangelo is worth the visit.

We popped into the Cathedral on a recent visit. Having the cathedral at Bourgos a few days before, this one was a bit of a disappointment. It is obviously a great deal smaller than Bourgos but from the moment we entered, the door held open by a vagrant for a small donation, it was obvious that we were going to be impressed. There is no entry fee.....apart from that charged by the vagrant for opening the door.....but you pay to turn the lights on at virtually every stage of your journey around the church. Take plenty of 50c coins to do this or follow someone else who feels the need to illuminate all of the items you want to look at. We spent a mere 5 minutes having a look around. Don’t be too disappointed if you miss it. The best view is from outside to be perfectly honest.
