Great small vineyard within walking distance from Logrono
Great winery to visit. We arranged our tour one day before. Intimate group with a 45-minute informative tour through the history, vineyard, and winery with a lot of great explaining how the wine is produced. Followed by the tasting of three wines.

    Fantastic Value
We visited this bodega today and lucky for us our group of four were the only ones booked so had a “private “ tour. Our guide June, was lovely and really knowledgable. We learned so much and the wines we tasted at the end were very good indeed. Absolutely fantastic value, and walkable from logrono. Definitely 5 stars

Ijalba Winery - a little Gem
A lovely welcome, we were in a group of 4 people with an English speaking tour guide called Andrea who did a great job guiding us through the process of why the winery actually exists, what grapes they use and why and how they protect the grapes from the elements. This was done by taking you to a small plantation on site where they show you what they do with grapes to protect them and develop them. We were shown through the manufacturing area, met some of the workers , tried a grape from the vine which we saw being processed, then lucky enough to see a truck arrive and deposit its load of grapes into the great vats that they have. Next was the bottling plant , then the cellars followed by some wine testing. Being a young winery, it differentiates itself by being more ecological and explains how it does this .It was a really great experience and we were so pleased we chose this winery. The parking was very good and the winery easy to find. We also bought 6 quality wines to take home !

Very nice tour guide and interesting stories about the local, low-scale family vineyard. English tour is of good quality! Easy walking distance from Logroño.

Singularly the most friendly and generous visit to a Bodega in Spain ever…
We turned up unannounced and not at the correct time for tours. So we asked for a tasting. As our host Enrique was on his day off, he described the wines, gave us 2 bottles for free and refused to take any payment - because he couldn’t afford us the time we deserved (on his day off)…
Anna (who was hosting the tour we’d unknowingly missed) then popped up to join us, explaining the wines and listening to our observations.
Wonderful wines - try the Garnacha, Enrique’s favourite or the Maturano.
If the staff exhibit the same warmth, friendliness and generosity of spirit to all their guests this will become the most popular venue in all of continental Europe.

We had amazing tour guided by June. She was passionate and elaborare about every part of the vineyard. Answered all of our questions and was really friendly. It’s a nice small organic vineyard with lovely wines from Rioja, red and white ;) Our favorite was the Graciano from the single edition.
