Very pretty here. Beach quite busy and full of restaurants and bars to sit and chill and take in the view.

We caught the bus to Sandy Bay and then walked back to Catalan Bay, where we stopped for lunch by the beach. It's a totally different vibe to the rest of Gibraltar - we enjoyed it. Then caught the bus back.

It is a short bus ride from the City Centre. Access down some steps from the bus stop. Alternatively there is a car park if you drive. Also has a bar and cafe offering refreshments.

We walked here from Ocean Village. It took about 40 mins but was enjoyable and interesting to see another side of Gibraltar. The beach was deserted and so relaxing.Gentle waves and perfect sand for children.Well worth a visit

Its not crowded at all. This is not a typical beach, but you can spend ages sitting along the rocks and watching the tides. It's so calm and peacful. The water is quite cold though.

Back to the centre and depending on the time of the day it should be about 6 pounds. The buses 4 and 8 are another option, both from the top of the hill near the beach. An all day ticket at 2,25 pounds is good value as you... More
