Whilst I would not say this is a must do visit, we found that the exhibits gave a very good background to the history of the Islands and the residents. There are the remains of Moorish Baths in the grounds, well explained. The exhibits include...More

A fascinating trip through the history of Gibraltar. Well laid out. Just off Main Street. Well worth a visit. We spent 2 hours there.

Gives a good idea of history of Gib. See the two figures Nan and Flint. If going to the Neandertal exhibition at Europa Point, going to Museum is needed either befor or after. Cannot say which way around.

This was jam packed full of history and the films were a great addition to the exhibits. I could have stayed for much longer than I did - so allow time to visit this great little museum.

In the hustle and bustle of Gib this is a wonderful place to visit for 90 mins or so. Well laid out and providing an interesting and informative backdrop to the area from Neolithic times right up to the current day.
